Public art like the Joe Louis fist, the breathtaking view from the Belle Isle Bridge and the classic beauty of the Fox Theatre convey an anchoring, visceral sense of place and pride.

We cannot continue to have two Detroits -- one for the poor people who have no hope or plan to move up economically and one for the others. The world is way too competitive to have all these little squabbles between the various communities chewing up our valuable time and money.

What a great way to show the rest of the world Detroit and how we're coming out of hard times. I enjoyed every second of that commercial, showing the way our city is some place to be proud of being from.

Great Commercial! Though it will probably do more for Detroit area tourism than for selling more Chryslers!

I plan to stop in Detroit for a couple of days on my way to Chicago this summer as a result of seeing that commercial.

Even though I live in the NYC suburbs, I spent the first 25 years of my life in Buffalo and understand the character and spirit of old Great Lakes industrial cities.

You guys have a history you should be proud of.
