I'm curious if anybody knows what the deal is with this house on San Juan between Pickford and Margareta: Google Maps
It looks like all of the windows on the front of the house have been replaced with mirrors. I've never seen anything like that on a house before. I think it looks pretty good.

I don't know that house in particular, but i have a friend who lives about a block away. It's a great little neighborhood with a nice sense of community. Yes, even in the city of Detroit!

I don't live in that area, but I get my hair done in that area. It's not a bad neighborhood.

Reflective tint sounds right to me. That's one way to not worry about closing the blinds. And yes, it's a nice neighborhood. How'd you happen upon that particular home?

That sounds right, I think it just kind of surprised me because I've never seen it on a house. I was just looking around various parts of the city on StreetView and really liked the style of houses on that street and how well maintained the neighborhood looks.

Hmmph. I've never randomly looked around Google Maps like that. Be sure to explore more of the west side of Detroit. We tend to get avoided on TV for the most part.

I used to work south side of 8mi and just W. Livernois and had no idea a street that nice and nearby existed.

I'm a geography/map geek, I've wasted more hours than I can keep track of looking all over the country on Streetview. And I will spend some more time looking over the west side, that block of San Juan is one of my favorites that I've come across in Detroit so far.
