Between Cass and Hall Rd, off of Groesbeck?

We have found a house located on Hubbard Street, but very weary of the area after hearing mixed reviews.

Thank you

I lived off Hubbard for quite some time. It's is the one of the rougher parts of the city's West Side. Pretty poor and run-down area, full of cheap apartments and numerous vacancies.

If I lived there, I'd feel comfortable with my children playing outside, that's no problem. However, I'd be sure they brought all their things inside before they came in. It's not an area where you can leave your garage door wide open, either. You'd be better off buying a house either a few blocks north of south of Hubbard, preferrable south. You'd obviously be paying quite alot more, but the safety, housing stock, and neighborhood amenities are well worth it.

I agree with Remisc, Mount Clemens is a rough and somewhat gritty area but it's safer than one would expect. However, for the prices in Mount Clemens you'd be better off taking a look at eastern Ferndale or Wyandotte.

It's okay, but not desirable. It's south Warren with more character and history. Mount Clemens Schools leave a lot to be desired, even after all the money put into them (a lot). There's charter schools, Catholic schools, and Chipewa Valley is a school of choice district.
