I agree with this, but the only problem is the welfare/unemployment checks don't come from the local governments.

I would love to have another WPA for the state, or better yet, country. Hell, other than Eisenhower's Highway Defense Act, that was the last large infrastructure project our coutnry has had, which is despicable.

Not quite, the difference between Workfare and what the other person is talking about is Workfare is strictly done through the private sector, since the WPA/CETA ended under Reagan. What hiphopcr suggests would be payment in exchange for public sector work to improve the infrastructure.

People aren't re-burying their deceased because they are afraid of what will happen to their deceased. They are afraid of what will happen to themselves when they visit their deceased.

And, yes, visitors to cemeteries have been victims of crimes.
