So, I moved to Michigan the summer of '10 and have lived at the Troy Somerset Apartments since. It's a nice area and very safe but also VERY boring. I do like the grounds of the complex though, and the apartments have a slight modern feel to them. Buuuut, like I said, it's boring.. and a lot of the ppl here have kids (which I don't)... and I can hear them outside on the weekends.. and also, my neighbor that just moved in has a dog that won't stop barking all day and I can also hear him snoring through the vent at night. *sigh*
I'm looking to move to RO so that I can be closer to cafes, shops, nightlife, etc. Looking for an apartment complex that's kept well and doesn't look TOO RETRO, maybe in the 20's-30's age demographic. If anyone can advice me at what places I might look at, that would be appreciated
