That's all I have to say.

Left Michigan due to a lack of employment. Tried NC...it didn't work out...so found work back here in Michigan...and I'm not leaving again. Loving it.

I thought the same about some of what you mentioned. But, having left and come back....it's not bad compared to not liking NC. The spiders that freaked out my wife (huge......as big around as a golf ball...some bigger), the heat for so long are just a couple. We tried it....didn't like it......but we're happy now.

OMG, they are huge. Our neighbor across the street had a huge community of brown recluse spiders in his crawl space. (A group of spiders is called a cluster or a clutter of spiders) The cable guy said he had NEVER seen so many in one place.

We had 2-3 in the house a few times and they make a LOUD POP when you step on a BIG ON--YUCK!

We are originally from central Michigan, middle of the mitten so to speak. All of Michigan is beautiful however if you are in search of a warm climate Michigan may not be your cup of tea. Summer can be hot with some humid days and winter can be below zero with feet of snow. That's what we miss. ... the seasons. The great lakes are gorgeous. Nice beaches with soft waves. Michigan has beautiful state parks also. It is a great place to be
