Deaborn would be a great option for some night life, tons of stuff to do. It's where I find myself most nights out.

One thing to keep in mind is that while working at U of M hospital you will be required to either take a commuter bus or purchase a parking pass. The commuter bus will take 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day and the parking passes run 150-1000/month and with the lower end ones there is no guarantee you will get a space.

So add that on to your commute time.

We are in the same situation now..We are looking for a place between Ann Arbor and Dearborn..suggestions?
