Detroit Suburbs - seeing more Obama or Romney signs plastered about the yards?

No political debate please. But just curious, by observation alone, what signs you are more commonly seeing throughout the Detroit suburbs.

I'd imagine the city is going for Obama. The suburbs?

I guess the 47% can afford more signs since they do not pay taxes?

Haven't notice. I will have to keep a look out. I just change the channel whenever I see on tv a political ad.

None yet. They start blooming in early October in these parts.

I noticed quite a few Obama signs / banners in the Brighton area.

Quite a few bumper stickers as well.

Very few signs or bumber stickers, but in our area the voters are about 88% republican so probably no one bothers.

For some reason I saw a few of them a while ago but then they disappeared. It was right after Romney announced Ryan as his VP pic. I see bumper sticks more often but I suspect the signs will bloom next month.

One of my brothers has an Obama bumper sticker on his car. The other brother has "Don't blame me, I voted for the American" Other than when we get together at Dad's house, i do not see bumper stickers. This is Michigan. We love our cars. Are we really going to crud them up with a bunch of stupid political stickers?

I did see one sticker that said "I do not mind heterosexuals as long as they act gay in public" I take that as an Obama voter.

Just not a lot of campaigning here. Somewhere I saw Romney has given up on Michigan and will not campaign here, so we may not see much. Not sure why Obama would bother spending money if he already has Michigan in the bag.

More Obama so far, but I'd be more afraid of vandalism with a Romney sign. (Someone keyed my Bush/Cheney sticker.) I still see a few Ron Paul signs out.

I am in Hazel Park and I have been seeing alot of Obama signs here and in Ferndale

On the contrary I see alot of Romney signs in Warren and Madison Heights. I never realized the sharp political divide between these areas.

I would still say there are more Obama signs tho.
