Hiiiii
I have an urgent consultation I'm hoping the cyber metro Detroit community here can help me out !
I just moved to Dearborn and looking for a house to rent .
I found two houses that I like very much but I just can't decide !! I want to compare the two areas ..
One of them is in West Dearborn (Dearborn high area ) off of Cherry Hill 48124.
The other one is in Dearborn Heights off of Inkster rd 48127 ..
Both are pretty decent houses . I'm having a hard time making up my mind hoping you can help me !!
Thank you !!!

West Dearborn is much more preferable to Dearborn Heights. The 48127 house you mention would be too close to Inkster for my liking. That area isn't much different from Inkster these days.

The 48127 zip code area of (north) Dearborn Heights is certainly preferable to south Dearborn Heights (48125 zip code). There's a 3-mile stretch along Inkster Road in the 48127 zip code area, from Cherry Hill Road to Joy Rd. You didn't specify a more precise location but, even still, I think the area near Cherry Hill Road and Dearborn High School is preferable.

Kind of a blanket statement isn't it? 48127 is a decent sized zip and I would hardly say that all of it is too close to Inkster. I grew up in 48127 (behind "The Hieghts" shopping center" and we never had or heard of any serious issues happening in that immediate area. The neighbors are great and everyone seems to look out for one another.

OP, can you give us a more detailed info on the location that houses for rent are in?

Yeah, you're right. After looking at it on a map there are plenty of areas that are fine. I know the Heights area and you are correct.

west dearborn is nice, i bought a house Off Carlysle and Pelham and i love it here, my neighbors are nice, the kids are quiet, schools are decent and the 48125 part that borders west dearborn except the part west of telegraph isnt that bad either.
