I saw this and thought it might be helpful to anyone considering the area, or just interested
in what is happening to Farmington Downtown. Exciting stuff! Takes a while to get through the whole thing.

This episode of "House Hunters" takes place in Farmington, too. Good overview of some of the housing. Interesting video stock of downtown area; shows some attributes that make it special. This was taped in 2011, and housing prices may have changed since then.

Very, very cool. Downtown Farmington has the right layout, so there's no reason they can't make this happen. Looks like I'll be spending a lot more time in Farmington.

My fiancee and I live near downtown Farmington and we are very happy with the community.

Riley park is a real hidden gem, too. If you sit down on one of the benches there it really does feel like a european town square with the retail on 3 sides.

(We really need to get rid of the parking lots, expand pedestrian space, and build a multi-level garage downtown, but hey, a guy can dream!)
