Having lived in Livonia for more then two decades and other then stores being
closed from current economic conditions Livonia is still a nice city. It certainly sounds like the pervasive racism Livonia is known for still prevails. Your particular rant exhibits the racism that prevails in suburbia. If a person has difficulty with african americans moving about freely bothers you perhaps a gated community with dna tests to make sure your white would be more to your liking. To blame african americans for needing decent places to shop and find work is irrational, ignorant, and to the point what is wrong with this country in general.
as a post script Livonia has tried vigorously to discourage black people with crimes such as dwb. Furthermore the cities termination of smart bus system in Livonia was to save money. (sure)

Reviewing your needs people wouldn't want me to do this but I know soutwest Detroit is close to Deraborn, where I assume you'll be working and it has a hispanic, white, and black population and has experienced economic development. Perhaps you can take that into consideration. Unless you have bad thoughts about the area from previously read forums. Racial tention is not nearly what it used to be but it still exists here in M-Detroit sadly.

It's interesting because Comerica moved to Dallas from Detroit (it still has Detroit-area employees, though)
