Those kitchen cabinets are awfully basic for that house...
I love the tile in the bathrooms.

Very nice house. The area itself is beautiful and safe, but it's a little far out for my taste, it could take a while to drive almost anywhere so you have to prepare for that if you plan on living in the Bloomfield area.

BTW, this area is a suburb of Detroit so it doesn't necessarily need to be moved to the general MI forum.

You can have it. I like cozy homes.

My thoughts? It's super gaudy and screams, "Please notice me!! I'm compensating!!" Otherwise though it's architecturally appealing and very spacious. It's most definitely not for me, but if flaunting wealth for attention and fake-respect is your thing, then that's the kind of house that'll get you there. Personally for that kind of money I'd prefer something smaller, but in an area that isn't an hour away from everything.

If I had that kind of money to spend in Metro Detroit I would choose a Victorian or Arts and Crafts bungalow within walking distance of downtown Plymouth or a lakefront home on Walled Lake where I could dock my boat in front of my house but still be a few minutes from all of the dining and shopping options of Novi.

The interior of the house above has some nice features but the rooms are too large for my taste and honestly, I think the exterior is gaudy with the extra stripes of color and I don't like the door over the garage. I think it looks like an add-on, especially since if you scroll through the pictures you can see that that door is in an upstairs bathroom. Kind of odd that you would want to walk out of your bathroom to a balcony, as opposed to a bedroom or other living space. It is in a beautiful, safe area, though.

Different strokes for different folks.

While I like the colors, it is a bit large. But, if you need room for a baby grand piano, or have lots of little ones, sure. I personally like a little more outside space and less inside. The ornate stair railings provide just enough glitz to an otherwise muted color scheme.

I like the toilet that blocks the door (4th picture). Now there's some quality workmanship.

Good deal on the house. It sold for 2010-2011 price in 2016 which is a market back at much higher 2004-2005 price levels in nice areas.
