Canada had a 3.6 earthquake about two miles outside Amherstberg (about four miles from my house). It was really different. Despite being in about 15 earthquakes ranging from small to really big in California, this one shook us up (figuratively not literally). It was very long and seemed more of a shock wave in the air than ground. Maybe we are just getting soft. It was tiny by California Standards. People heard and felt it all the way to Westland and Dearborn.

Did Y'all notice it?

Surprised to hear that you get quakes up there. I didn't know any fault lines were in MI. At least they are minor quakes and won't do any damage. Went through a minor quake a few years ago when I was in KC. It was actually centered in OK but managed to impact the KC area. I remember driving on I 435 in South KC at the time it happened and I could actually see the highway roll in front of me from the wave.

I didn’t feel it, I was actually soaking in a hot bath at the time! A lot of people here did feel it though, and heard the rumbling for about 20 seconds.
I did feel two earthquakes that shook the furniture and rattled dishes back in the 80s, up on the 8th floor of our condo, it was pretty shocking, I thought it was an explosion!

That is what we thought. It felt and sounded like a train was driving though our basement. There was no rolling and no big snap at the beginning. Perhaps because it was small and we only really noticed it because it was so close to us.

I didn't feel a thing here in Ann Arbor but my sister-in-law in Grosse Pointe Woods definitely did.
