What about the part of the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning (TCAUP) that's been on Woodward since 2012?

I believe you might be referring to a high school semester prep course. I am unaware if U of M offers courses there for a degree. Perhaps they have a Detroit location campus, but never heard of it.

Not sure what to make of this but Google Street view has numerous pictures of the corner. The UM block M sign shows up as earlier as August of 2007. But by June of 2019 the sign is gone.

We are splitting hairs here...yes they've had that minor presence in midtown for several year, but nothing on the scale and prominence like they just announced this past week.

I like it. Good for the City, good for the region, good for the university.
