She said that 1 million dollars worth of stuff was stolen. Left in a house worth about $40,000, in the ghetto. Do I smell insurance fraud??

Ohhhhh, now she changed the amount to "100,000"

Here is a link with the video:

She is such a hypocrite! Now she's blaming the neighbors for not watching her property. She's a slumlord, although that is seldom reported.

Martha Reeves: I heard that you desired to lease an apartment in Downtown Detroit...now your house was broken into!! I truly hope that you do not become my neighbor here on the Riverfront. By the looks of that shack, it is not worthy $40,000.00. If you wanted attention you have received it. I am sure that what was taken was not worth over $599.00. Maybe you should return to the recording studio and do a remix of "Dancing in the Streets" but, this time add a Detroit "Rapper". Then you could move away from that wreck of a house. Your salary is over $80,000.00 a year consider leasing or buying another house in a different area.

Can't find a pic of the house but it was pretty dumpy.

Here she is talking about the robbery.

Cardwellave: To answer your question. Martha Reeves lives on the Far East Side of Detroit. Not the "Conant Gardens" NorthEast side, and not Downtown Detroit near the Lafayette Towers, or the RiverFront Apartments. I thought she was near "East English Village" but I was told that she lived closer to Gratiot. I truthfully believe that she should move to a safer area.
