All of this talk about a light rail system going downtown got me thinking about all of the restaurants that brought me downtown that are no longer there. Here are some of my fond memories:

You will be happy to know, then, that the Caucus Club, where Barbara Streisand performed before she became really famous, is still alive and well in the Penobscot bldg. (on the side not the high rise part), and they still have those ribs. And Chris the bartender mixes some mean cocktales. I saw Geoffrey Fieger in there one night not too long ago!
