I have heard from friends and the news that GM is going to make a huge annoucement tommorow that they are going to cut over 1,000 white collar jobs. But the news or anyone that I have talked to have mentioned where the cuts are going to take place.

Is anyone out there a GM employee or has heard anything about the locations of job loss, any response would be appreciated, Thanks!

GM lays off white collar people all the time, and unlike the UAW they don't get $200,000 bonuses plus pension and benefits when they go. They also don't whine about it as much, so it gets a day of coverage in the press instead of 8 months of constant coverage.
