Hello everybody,

I'm not familiar at all with Detroit, I've never been there and have only read about it. I was just wondering for anybody who knows, how Brush Park is doing nowadays? I'm curious to know if any of the large Victorian houses have been renovated, demolished or are still abandoned.

I would also like to know if downtown is in use, or if it is still mostly abandoned buildings. Have any been renovated or demolished? Thank you for your replies.

Brush Park is basically a mix of what you mentioned there still are many abandoned mansions and empty overgrown lots. But on the brightside there has also been many renovations of the old mansions. And the empty lots are also getting a lot of attention with new modern condo developments. So on some areas old and new are right next to each other making it seem a little of centered.

Downtown has been improving a a lot in the past decade or so. There are still many empty lots and abandoned buildings. But a lot has also changed for the good. The Westin Book Cadillac Hotel/Condos in coming along beautifully.
