I personally think that the zoo is a great asset to the communities it serves, it is such a beautiful massive place, it would be hard to see the entire park sit empty for years and rot away. What do you think?

I haven't been to the zoo since I was a child. Has it improved over the years? I don't expect it to be on par with the one outside of Chicago but maybe it has gotten some more interesting exhibits.

I won't willingly give a dime to any entity owned by the city of Detroit. When they sell the zoo, I'd be willing to pay twice as much.

The zoo has definitely gotten better over the years, but the price is much higher than it use to be also. Same everywhere. That being said, I wish Detroit would let it go also.
