Hi,
I am visiting U of M and trying to figure out a way to get to the Saturday, August 30th football game in Arbor from Plymouth and back again. Theride.org states I can take Route 2 from the plymouth mall but there is no bus back after 5:48pm. I guess I could leave the game early if need be, but what fun is that? Is there a bus, train, shuttle that i can take? Thanks.

Let me see if I understand you correctly. You will be in the city of Plymouth and you want to leave your car at the Plymouth Mall on the northeast side of Ann Arbor and take the Ann Arbor city bus to the stadium. Is this correct?

The city bus does have weird hours on the weekend, but I believe they still have a service called Dial-a-Ride. It has changed over the years, but it might be worth checking into. Don't know if the U-M buses are still free, but you have to embark and depart at their designated stops. North campus would get you close to your car, but you would still have a bit of a walk.

Default woops

Woops. Not having spent any time in the area, I assumed Plymouth Mall was in Plymouth. Silly me. My goal was to get from the town of Plymouth and back from the football game since I will not have a car that day. Is public transportation not really an option in this area? Thanks,

Plymouth and Ann Arbor are not even in the same county. Plymouth Mall is so named because it is on Plymouth Road which connects the two cities. I know of no public transportation between the two. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
