Trial in death of Aiyana Stanley-Jones begins; jury to decide accident or criminal negligence | Detroit Free Press | freep.com

What do you think the police and film crew deserve in this case? I say criminal negligence.

I say nothing. If anyone is to blame it is her trifling ghetto trash thug harboring family.

If it just started how can the jury be deliberating>?

If you do not harbor MURDERERS in your house, percusion granades and SWAT will not kick in your door at 4:00 am and accidentially discharge an automatic weapon.

The proximate cause of the little girl's death was one well-meaning police officer's poorly timed shot in the heat of the moment.

The TV crew were merely recording events.

The actual cause of her death was her thug and gun trafficking parents/caregivers and the thug environment she lived in. That poor little girl didn't have a decent chance at a decent life right from the start.

[They] feel for all the lives that have been lost, including that of 17-year-old Je’Rean Blake, he said.
Aiyana’s father, Charles Jones, is accused of providing the gun that was used to kill Je’Rean and faces first-degree murder charges in the teen’s death along with Chauncey Owens.
Owens, who is accused of killing Je’Rean over a dirty look, was the target of the raid and was captured in the upper flat of the duplex.

Did the film crew refuse to give over the film? Did the media ask to shoot at night? Just wondering what you heard, to say criminal negligence for the film crew. The story states the principal photographer is going on trial later, so there is more to it than just this story. Can't imagine the film crew not cooperating, unless if they are trying to hide something and cover their butt!

It's just a terribly sad story. Murdering someone over a "dirty look" is just nutty. Could have been avoided completely, so sad.
