I get the point.

But Detroit is just as Black as South Africa.

Or it`s just ``Oh so more chic`` to schmooze with Nelson Mandela....than the mayor of Detroit.

Oprah's audience is white middle class women, who are more likely to be sympathetic of poor, helpless African-Africans than of African-Americans, who they might consider more at fault for any hardships they may be suffering from.

Exactly what many white South Africans think about their poor Blacks in suburban townships.
I just knew, Oprah was a revolutionary .

People are more likely to feel sympathy toward people they don't know anything about, so yes, South African whites would be more likely to feel sympathy toward the "poor, helpless" African-Americans living in Detroit than they would be toward their African-African neighbors. And a South African black television talk show host would get better ratings starting a school in Detroit than in Africa.

I don`t think that any South African Black show host.....would stoop that low.
I simply cannot imagine such a scenario. Nothing such will happen....unless it`s intended to make fun of countless famous Americans who parade throughout the world....doing PR and ``charity`` work.

South Africans (including Whites who fought against Apartheid) whom I have spoken to....are a bit more committed to their own land.

If people knew the history of both places, it should make people feel bad for both places. The thing is, I am sympathetic towards both places. I know about South Africa's history and Detroit's history. People need to know more.

"Nothing such will happen..."

And who would have believed that an African-American woman talk-show host would become a multi-millionaire and open up a school in Africa instead of Detroit?

In The D Section-8 pays annual rent on houses which exceeds the actual market value of the house. Go figure.

Just look at Detroit. Since all the "Aid" became available has Detroit gotten better, stayed about the same or gotten worse?

Detroiters must be kept under the subjugation of the Democratic party. Trade hand-outs for votes.
