I understand the Wings are killin it tonight but am I the only one who just goes crazy with the wings? Why do they not get some tough guys to stick up against the goons of the other team. Its ridiculous, these guys can do whatever they want against the wings without any real fear of retaliation. I don't think we should pull up May although he'd be nice, we need some new young guys. We've always had at least a few tough guys who can fight it out, Kocur, Probert, McCarty but now? Nothing.. and teams really use it against us and beat us with it.

blah i could rant for hours.

I don't understand how you can ***** about the Red Wings. They have the longest active playoff streak of any team in the 4 main sports, they are coming off back to back finals appearances, they have set the NHL record for consecutive 100 point seasons, they's won 4 cups in 12 seasons, and I can go on. Moral of the story is Ken Holland knows what he's doing. You should be thanking him.

They still need tougher players, they keep getting pushed around, they need some tough players to fight back at the goons. Most of the losses of the wings are because they don't have physical players.

Bettman has changed the NHL in the sense those old days are gone where you have an enforcer or two in the line ups.

The Red Wings have out hit teams that are known for hitting/fighting in the past two playoff years (one of them years is when they won a cup.)

I agree. During some of the games, especially earlier, we have been banged around a lot. Our guys aren't so big. I thought Bertuzzi was supposed to help with this problem, was I wrong? I don't see him being a deterrent.
