From The Detroit News: Canada offers $550M to help fund second Detroit River bridge | detnews.com | The Detroit News (http://detnews.com/article/20100429/POLITICS02/4290446/Canada-offers-$550M-to-help-fund-second-Detroit-River-bridge#ixzz0mVDLN4MM - broken link)

I don't trust the
Detroit International Bridge Company. If DIBC is worried about Michigan people not getting jobs, then the owner of the DIBC which owns the Michigan Train Station should fix up the station by giving Michigan people jobs to do this. Killing two birds with one stone. Jobs being created and some blight from Detroit would be erased.

Relax, your elected officials in Lansing are almost certain to vote in favor of this massive project; and workers from both countries will build it. It would be even better if your federal government would pay for half at the outset, then Michigan could collect toll revenues sooner. It's high time that the Detroit area had its turn at this type of development; I mean, look at some other American cities with smaller populations than SE Mich. that have more bridges (eg. Norfolk, Cincinnati, Jacksonville).

Matty Maroun is in it for one thing and one thing only ............$$$$$$$$$ Remember , he's the guy who gave $$$$$$ to Kwame and Carlitta lol We do need another bridge though because the Detroit/Windsor crossing is the busiest in the U.S. and the U.S. and Canada do more trade than any other 2 country's in the world .
