You've heard the term "hangry," right? People who are hungry often report being unreasonably angry until they're fed.

"Hangry" is a relatively new buzz word, but science is backing it up. A new study published in the journal PNAS suggests married couples are more aggressive when they have low blood sugar levels.

Great post! This is definitely the case with me! If I go too long without a meal I start to get edgy. Then I get a little shaky, then comes the "angry as a bear" mode!
My ex-wife use to be like this too but she was so obsessed with her figure that she wouldn't eat, and then she'd go nuts, that put a huge strain on our marriage.

One of my symptoms of impending low blood sugar is being crabby. I asked my husband to tell me to test my blood sugar when he notices this and he replied, "How can I tell the difference?"

But yes, things like this can happen when blood sugar is low. JMO

It happens to me all the time. I'll get hungry and then get the shakes and get all jittery and then I'll get edgy and annoyed about EVERYTHING until after I've had something to eat.
