What did you do in place of constantly craving food?
Since I am literally trying to gain, I eat.

But you are so low in your A1c and you want to gain weight (thud) ok got up from fainting. I can't even imagine trying to gain weight. I crave sugar all the time and am hungry most of the time. Water helps but not enough, so far. Maybe summer will help curb my appetite. This year I'm swimming to help curb my appetite and I don't care how ugly I am I'm not letting that stop me.

About three years ago, I stopped gaining weight for some reason. Got within 9 lbs of being underweight. I’ve managed to crawl my way up a few lbs but between 12 years old and 3 years ago, if I had eaten like I do now, I’d weigh 300 lbs. My doctor and I have spent all spring trying to figure out why I can’t gain. He’s thinking I’m in the 25% of elderly that simply can not gain.
