That sounds like my kind of food actually! how do I know if its low glycemic though? Does that mean no fruit? I know fruit can be higher on the glycemic scale.

SB has (I believe 3) different phases you go through. In the first phase, you stay away from fruit. In phase 2 you can add some fruit back in.

You could try googling "glycemic index" to find out which fruits have a lower glycemic value.

Thanks! I will do that! As long as its something I can do for pretty much my lifestyle once all 3 phases are complete then it sounds like a good plan!

SB is a little too rigid for many (most) people to follow strictly long term, IMO. I've heard that many transition onto Weight Watchers after SB. But almost everyone I know that has tried SB continues to follow many of the diet's principles.
