I'm also 5' 4" and my doc tells me I should be around 145. 110 is way too thin, IMHO.

Good luck, regardless.

It doesn't have to be a big meal to be a bad meal.

I'm barely 5'4 and my goal is 135. I weighed 117 when I was in HS and when I look at pictures of myself then I think I looked awfully thin (sad part is I didn't feel that way at that time...I still thought I was fat).

Have you ever weight 110? Aside from when you were pre-pubescent?

When I was 29, I was around 160. It was way too heavy, I didn't merely look fleshy, I felt unhealthy - sluggish and tired a lot. Then something happened, they think my hormones might've gone haywire for some reason. I lost 40 pounds in around 4 months, without changing anything about my diet, exercise, or living habits.

At 5'2.5" I weighed 122 - and felt JUST as unhealthy as I did when I was 160. Thankfully, I gained back around 10 pounds and it seemed just about perfect. At this point in my life, almost 20 years later, I'd love to get back to around 140. It's a little on the heavy side for small bones and short stature, but I really prefer having some meat on my bones and "grippable" hips. Plus it's still within the range of "normal" and it looks good on me.

I think anyone who's 5'4" who thinks they need to weigh 110, might have some issues with a distorted self-image. Unless they're like, a professional gymnast, and 12 years old.

Calculate Your BMI - Standard BMI Calculator

Using height and weight, 110 at 5'4 is a BMI of 18.9. A healthy BMI is listed as 18.5-24.9. Personally, I don't think 110 at 5'4 is too low of a weight, depending on the OP's bone structure, age, health, etc. Perhaps,
a goal of 120 to start with would be better though.

THis is my 2 cents. If you are having trouble losing fat. That means that you are eating too much-period. It doesn't matter if you are eating healthy-if you are taking in more calories than you need or just enough you will not lose fat. You need to limit your caloric intake. You also need to take breaks from not enough calories. Lets say you have been a caloric deficit for 2-3 weeks. YOu should take a 2-3 day break and eat normally-then resume caloric deficit. Dont really need to count calories--the general rule is if you are a little hungry before bed--you have eaten enough to loose weight. good luck

My picture shows my results. It worked for me.

Are you doing any weightlifting or other strength training? Maybe that's what's missing.
Do you drink soda or diet soda? Either way, quit.
Do you drink alcohol? If so, you might be forgetting to count those calories.
Or maybe you are already at a healthy weight for you. Ask your doctor.

You mentioned that you strength train but how often and how heavy do you lift? For fat-loss you should train your whole body 2-3 times a week using weights heavy enough where the last few reps are nearly impossible to lift.

Also instead of focusing on the scale you should focus on how your clothes fit. 110 might not be the ideal weight for you especially if you tend to build muscle easily.
