I was talking to a woman at work the other day who is very slender. She's about 5'4" and we were talking about weight and she happened to mention that she weighs a lot more than most people think so I asked her--she said she weighs 140 lbs. I would have guessed maybe 115. So maybe you're more slender than you think. Also, if you have to cut your calorie consumption too much, it may not be worth it--ask yourself how much you want to lose that 10 lbs and consider the trade-off.

Muscle weight on women is a lot less than men. But you do have a great point.

If you are still bothered by visible fat, you probably need a change in diet, not your exercise.
And not how much you are eating but what you are eating.

Tim Ferris swears by eating at least one cheat meal once a week. Like actually gorging himself with all the stuff he religiously stays away from the rest of the week.
There are studies that show even though you will gain a couple lbs of water weight the first few days after, you will then drop all that plus some before the next cheat meal.
This works better for some than for others.
Works for me...don't know who Tim is, but every Sunday I eat all day long what ever I want. Psychologically it keeps me from getting discouraged, and I beleive it kick starts me when my body thinks its in starvation mode. Before cheat day, I was losing about 4 pounds a week, but then I would stay the same for weeks on end. With cheat day, I lose about 1.5 to 2 pounds a week.
