My mother just sent pictures of myself and my children she took at Easter. I was appalled at the double chin I have that I thought was my "imagination."
I'm just 25 pounds overweight. But, I'm also 50. Will weight lose help rid me of this "thing", of do I have to go and get a Lifestyle lift (cosmetic surgery)?
Anyone lose their extra chin after a modest weight loss? I'm going to be really concious of it now.
Wow, only 25 lbs overweight!! Your BMI is probably in the 29's which is pretty close to obese. I'd recommend losing a bunch of weight before you consider surgery.
1: if you do the surgery chances are it'll come back in a new form with some time anyway.
2: If you have a double chin, chances are your overall body would likely benefit from the weightloss.
3: A lifestyle change is usually the only permanent solution.(and this does not mean you have to go overboard and become a track running gym-nut)
Another thing; don't let general numbers be your measure of how overweight you are; when it comes to these matters there's only 2 good instruments for measurement;
1: your mirror in combination with....
2: objective self-honesty. (or if you have an uncomfortably harsh-truth-telling friend)
I am 25 and suffering from double chin. as I looks fatty only from face though my body is not seems so fatty according to my face. How can I loss fat from my face only.

You can't. You probably have fat in other places but you wear it well. I'll bet if you drop some pounds overall your face will look thinner. When people lose weight that's usually one of the first things people will notice.
I've had a double chin all my life, but never thought of it as a "syndrome." It isn't my favorite feature, and growing up I often wished I didn't have it, just like my cowlicks, moles, and short toes. I think that's what happens when we try to compare ourselves to others.
Maybe that's God's first spiritual lesson to us: learn to accept our unwelcome features so that we can accept others?
You could lose it but it could be your age. Lose the weight first it's cheaper and safer.
