When you lose weight rapidly your body faces some health consequences that can't be easily reduced. Better to lose weight in a gradual process rather than opting for fast weight loss methods.
I lost mine pretty quick with no (apparent) problems going from mid 240's to under 190 (6'2 male) between Jan 10th and late April when I hit my goal. The first couple weeks, as with most diets, it poured off from mainly water weight loss at a clip of about 5-6 lbs a week. Afterwards the average was ~2.5 lbs a week for a couple months and ~1lb a week for the final 4-6 weeks. Maybe that is not considered overly rapid however, but felt pretty quick to me lol.
overweight - many affadavits about 40 lbs can be lost.
normal weight - skin sag etc, but about 4-3 lbs one week then 1-2 the next week so your body has time to recover. also, up down calorie intake speed up metabolism by up to 40%.
low weight\ underweight - hell, death - even suicide. and severe toll.

Hello Henrybishop,
I am totally agree with your view point. We should take care of our health, the dangers of rapid weight loss increases with the time spent on the diet.Eating a no-protein diet is particularly risky.
Thanks...
