I am not able to see where I have lost weight just yet, but I can tell a difference in my clothing.

I was at a plateau for a while and my dr asked me what I was eating. I eat everything healthy, but I normally do not eat breakfast and lunch. I just am not hungry!

He told me I need to start eating at least 3 meals a day.

I have been eating either oatmeal, cereal, or a banana for breakfast, and a smoothie or salad for lunch and my dinner, and I have lost 8 lbs in around 2 weeks.

I know it is not much, but it is a start!

That's great. I normally lose 1.5 pounds a week so for you to lose that much so quickly is impressive.

Are you eating more food and losing weight, or spacing your meals out more and losing weight?

Just curious. Either way, congrats!1

8 pounds in two weeks is a great loss. More than likely your body will slow the losses now. One to two pounds a week is about right. Congrats on your loss!

I have been up and down within those pounds lost I think because of the inflammation I am exp with my RA, and then I had to take Prednisone.

I am at 9 lbs now, so it evened out a bit.

I do not use weight loss products. I started eating breakfast and lunch where I was not doing that before. I started losing weight automatically.

I stopped eating any pasta or rice, or white potatoes and have cut down a lot on any white flour/sugars.

I had already stopped drinking sodas and eating fast foods. I have switched to drinking unsweet tea instead of sweetened.

In the morning I usually have oatmeal or scrambled eggs and I eat a light lunch. I have added the "good" fats to my diet. I had eaten them before, but now I eat more. Almonds, avocado, olives.

I make sure to eat proteins. I eat red meat only once every 1-2 weeks. I eat mostly chicken and fish. Lots of vegetables. (not starchy vegetables) I do eat grains. I walk 3x a week and do a little bit of exercise with weights.

I like the way I eat. I actually feel a lot better since the change. My stomach used to hurt a lot, now it doesn't.

I guess I've lost ten pounds now in about a month. I feel like I probably would have lost more if I did not have to be on steroids for a few days...
