Why bother with losing weight then if you are not concerned about your health risks? I mean, why not just eat anything and everything? You're going to die sometime anyway, right?
Pretty much everything everyone in the world encounters = increased risk of cancer. When God decides it's your time, it's your time.
Nonsense.
And yes a lot of things we do and eat can cause cancer, but why not try and avoid them? I not only want to live to a nice ripe old age, I want to do it being healthy and active.
Animal products raise the risk of a variety of cancers, not just red meat.
Most people who eat "low carb" increase their intake of animal products.
Not to nit pick, but I am one of those low carb eaters, and I would not say I have increased my meat intake, but only the frequency. I am eating the same amount of meat as I always did, but just eliminating the carbs that went along with it.

^^^I can only speak for myself but I never really liked breads, pasta or sweets anyway. I have not increased my intake of animal products. I eat the same amount of meat as I did before going low carb. I have always enjoyed meats and cheese. I eliminated grain products and since I don't get nutrients and fiber from grains I have to compensate with vegetables.

Why is low carb in quotes? When I changed my diet to low carb I simply eliminated most of the carbs I was eating along with the animal products I was already eating. An example is that I used to eat a burger with a bun and fries. Now I go to the same restaurant and eat a burger without the bun or fries and I add a vegetable. That isn't an increase in intake of animal products. It is a decrease in carbs. Although the percentage of calories coming from animal products increases, it increases because of a reduction in total calories not because of an absolute increase in the intake of animal products.
