Doctor study indicates that if food is not fully being processed in the digestion we eat more than we should to compensate for low energy .
Probiotics cannot hurt and adding magnesium can help distribute minerals better through out the body and help remove the undissolved minerals too.
I keep that carbs down to a minimum and adding more fruit to my diet as well.
I can't do the running I did as a kid, but I do walk with my 30# computer EDC back pack from time to time ,plus work around the yard .
I almost never eat junk food , I never buy it.

The only problem with this theory is that it is almost impossible eat more fiber if you don't eat carbs. I eat low carb, but I occasionally eat beans. I eat vegetables. Other than that, fiber is hard to come by. grains are not a part of a low carb diet.

I agree with this. With this you need to remain away from calories and consume proteins so that you will be able to lose your weight easily.
We all have different metabolisms and need to find what works for each of us, there is no 'magic' diet plan that will work for everyone.
For me, it's a matter of ensuring I stay active and eat a well balanced diet; no in-between snacks and no late night snacks. No sugary foods, no high fat foods, and no large portions.
Plus.....patience! We will never take it off as quickly as we put it on. And if we try to drop the weight too quickly, we haven't given ourselves sufficient time to learn new eating and exercise habits.
