I've read that not getting enough sleep can also contribute to weight gain. I have the same issues you do, my excuse is that even though I know what I should be doing/eating, I'm just being lazy and unmotivated.
My clothes aren't fitting like they used too. That's my signal that I'm "skinny" fat! I think I should weigh about 18-20 lbs less. I have a small frame and don't "look" fat, but I am terribly out of shape and feel sluggish.

I started eating less, but I started feeling sick, so I had to start eating more again to keep down the nausea. I've been prescribed some antibiotics, but I am planning to see a doctor later to get to the bottom of this.

Strange. Why antibiotics? Wasn't the person who prescribed the antibiotics a doctor? Usually when one feels nauseous more food is not the answer.

Yes, but it was just an emergency room visit.

Keeping something on my stomach helps; I don't know why. If I don't eat enough, I sometimes feel queasy.

You went to the emergency room because you felt nauseous?

Try elimination of certain food groups to rule out food allergies or sensitivities. I was having all kinds of additional health problems before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. After completely modifying my diet and going with a paleo/ and mediterranean diet most of those other health issues went away completely. Just something to think about, think about seeing a food allergist to see if there are any issues.

This is a good point because many people with Autism Spectrum disorders have food sensitivities or allergies.

This is new, though. I used to be able to eat anything I wanted.

That's just a part of getting older, though. Plenty of people get to a point when they can't eat what they used to without feeling gross--it may have nothing to do with an allergy or intolerance.
