I'm crossing my fingers that as I age it's not going to be harder to maintain the weight loss .. It may, at some point be inevitable though That's why I stay so active!
That's why I stay active as well. It doesn't take much to go back up now, hence the reason why I am so ardent about working out. It's a real struggle, far more of a struggle than when I was in my twenties. I really take pride in my results because they were achieved through blood sweat and tears. I know I'm staving off the inevitable, but I do what I can, each day at a time. Best wishes to you, too.

No matter how good you think your diet is I recommend you to reevaluate it and make proper adjustments.
Well, I like to eat and do enjoy food and am not going to needless torture myself unless I have to. If the day comes when I can't exercise, of course I'd have to adjust my diet accordingly, but -- as long as I enjoy BOTH eating and Zumba and the combination keeps me where I want to be -- why not indulge in both? Thanks.

Of course exercise promotes weight loss. If exercise is used as an excuse to overeat than not. I have maintained a reduced weight for about 7 years now through exercise and diet both.

I know somebody who lost significant weight for no other reason that her car died and rather than replace it she chose to ride her bike everywhere.

It is just a video with some information in it. No matter what it says if you want to be healthy you need to eat right and exercise. People were meant to do physical labor of some sort - not sit behind a desk all day and veg out on the sofa at night. While it may or may not be a good weight loss tool (and I believe it is), it is still very important for your overall health. So don't fight it. Get out there and move!
