The reason you struggle is because your long-term habits are killing your progress. But don't think that it is unnatural. It is. Humans live moslty by habits through out the day, so the key is that you have to change your habits. Your mind does NOT want to change your habits. You have to become aware of your habitual behaviour and change it. If you find yourself binge eating just switch the food to something healthy. You have to make a written commitment(s) and read it very often.

The key is that you have to convince your mind to do differently. The most effective way is by the repetition of and idea over time. You have to use self-discipline and be persistent and one day it will become second nature. When people learn to drive a stick-shift car they do not learn it over night. They have to train their mind over and over and over again. You have to be consistent. Habits can't die, they can only be replaced. All your habits are subconscious, and the subconscious understands repetitive ideas that are emotionalized.

Just keep the foods / drinks you know are bad for you OUT OF YOUR HOME

And when you are out and about ... keep your booger pickers off of those foods - drinks also

Duhhhhhhhh

Continuing to eat and drink foods you know are bad for you then claim you need help losing weight is just stating you have no self control or common sense at all.
