Well I'm working out and losing weight primarily to lose my pot belly and for fitness and good health. I'll worry about the wrinkles later, or not. But I'm going to lose the weight regardless.
I am 36 and have always been told I look younger. Where I get carded on a normal basis. I was 122 at 5'3" until the stress of this year (death in the family, moving, breakup, job change) all stressed me to the point where I stopped eating. Now, at 97 pounds I don't get the compliments like I used to. I think it's about health and balance, something I am trying to get back to. That and using good skincare, staying out of the sun, and not smoking or doing drugs. If you get too skinny most people think that's great because skinny is supposedly great in our culture. But I can tell you I don't get the same high fives when I get carded and I went from size 6 to size 0. I might look great from across the street but when you look at me up close now I am nothing to be lusted after, my face is honestly kinda scary until I put makeup on and I don't feel as pretty as I used to.
More fat on the face the younger you appear. Keeps wrinkles down. Many who want to look younger have injections to pump up their face to take away the wrinkles.
Now I am not talking about obese. I am talking a little more weight.
Penn Jillette before and after weight loss. Looks a lot more wrinkled after losing weight.
And his knees don’t hurt, he can climb stairs again without being short of breath, his blood sugar is normal, but yeah, those wrinkles — LOL. This thread is a hoot.
