Hello! I'm in a stupid situation... so I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. My doctor diagnosed me with obesity and I don't know how to lose weight very quickly and safely, because I can't do sports because of painful joints.
thanks to those who can answer me!
Your doctor didn't give any advice?
Google "low impact exercise". There are even chair exercises you can do.

Lose safely, not quickly; fast losses are usually regained. You need to change the way you eat forever, not just until you lose X number of pounds.
100% agree on the diet for weight loss. Went from desk jockey to working out a few days a week fairly intensely. I've got some nice definition forming, but until I'm ready to ditch the fries....my weight is almost what it was.
Also love the idea of swimming for bad joints. If you don't know how to swim, there's also water aerobics. Yeah, it tends to fill with older people for the same reason, but I've honestly found you can really target muscles and add to them quite well. Just be sure to work it at the best pace you can which may be faster than the rest of the class. Plus, if you mess up nobody can see because you're in the water.
Sorry op, for weight loss, you're going to have to diet. Worse, to keep your matabalism up, you should get some weight lifting/resistance training. Cardio is great for the heart, but that alone will just leave you hungry and with a variable burn rate.
Fitness is acquired at the gym.
Weight loss?..... That's done at the dinner table.
Together they can work magic.
