always nice to know that i don't need to be a toothpick to be found attractive. genetics wise I've always had bigger thighs, more muscular than anything. but walking up and down the halls of school would be so hard because comparing myself to the twiggy, "fit in anything" girls made me extremely self conscious. but as i grew up and began to understand things from a different perspective, I also began to truly love my body no matter how curvy, muscular I was and even what the scale said. DONT WEIGH YOURSELF. go by how you feel!!!!

Americans, both Dudes and Dudettes, yes, quite porky in general. Obsessing over each and every scrap of food you eat and every little fluctuation in the scale, no.........but you should admit to yourself if you are overeating/binge-eating and eating a poor quality diet.

It is a health-issue above and beyond vanity. Type-2 diabetes is a big threat, basically rotting the body.

I have a significant genetic component to mine. Many T2D's in my family tree.
Then the T2D drugs make you fat so I had to overcome 'em to get down to a "normal" weight.
The T2D isn't going away, but it's not so bad now.
