Once again, google is your friend. If you are too lazy to even look this stuff up for yourself, I question whether or not you'll have the determination to succeed at losing weight. Losing weight involves more energy and less laziness than a google search. Here ya go:

Just go join WW. The new plan is just as good if not better than any of the old ones because they are constantly trying to improve it. Looking for old books just seems silly to me. That is why it seems like these are troll posts.

Wow! What's up with the rudeness? Guess it could be a troll but not definitely.

I too would like to follow WW the old fashioned way. I hate the point system. I don't eat a lot of prepared or frozen foods and when you cook REAL food, it's time consuming to figure out the points for every little thing you put in a dish. I liked knowing that I could have certain foods in certain amounts.

And by the way, lots of people gain weight back. It's a lifestyle change. If you don't continue to follow the diet, the weight will come back. So in other words, the diet didn't fail, the person following the diet failed. I know I did. That's why I'd like to go back on it - get back on track. But counting points is for the birds.

I am also looking for the menu planner sheet that has the little boxes where you check off what you ate for that day and the week. If you find it please let me know. Thanks D

It's not time consuming figuring out the points when you cook your own food. I am on the new points plus plan and lost 48 lbs so far. I thought the old plan was terrible compared to the new plan. The online E-tools is so user friendly. I track all my food and points online, I hated writing in that little food tracker. You can still do that if you prefer not to track online. I have been on the plan 1 year. 25 lbs more till I get to goal.I used to eat those Lean Cuisne's and Smart ones dinner years ago but they are too salty.I use the recipe builder when I make dishes or I go online and use the WW recipes they have.I have made several recipes from the website that are delicious. I tohugh the old plan was more work JMO. You can look up thousands of foods online quicker and faster than using the books they give out. I also have that points calculator so when I go food shopping I can put int eh carbs, protein, fiber and fat , it tells me the points and I can decide whether or not to buy that item.

I still do not understand why you couldn't give the new plan a try. But to each his own I guess.

Good luck Bonnie,

I don't like the point system either, plus never lost anything. I found something else that works for me. Happy loss
