Have any of these overweight people consulted with a good health care provider and had
a complete blood work-up? weight can be attributed to other things besides foods.
side effects from certain medicines causes weight gain, hormonal imbalance, diabetes,
or onset of diabetes, hormone replacement therapy, thyroid and many other problems.
after I'd gotten a complete physical, if that turned out good then I would see a nutritionist and exercise everyday.
You are hurting yourself more with these quick fixer upper diets and cleanses, for the sake of looking appealing to who? and by whose standards? start from the inside out
Yes I agree with Charles on a lot of things that he posted. most obesity is a lack of self-control or poor health.
I've been there and still doing that. if you are otherwise healthy just eat properly and exercise
on a regular and consistent basis, if you drink the proper amount of water, and eat fruits and veggies, there enough phyto nutrients and other minerals to keep your colon cleansed daily
stay away from white foods. and processed and fast foods, and you should not need a "Master Cleanse", just a regular BM, add prune juice to your diet if you are over 50

I am actually only 26 so when I started this job I was 23 and I was used to having a high metabolism and I could eat whatever I wanted. I had worked in food industry/walmart, etc so I burned more than I ate but when I started here, I really kept eating the same but without burning anything. So now that I am trying to lose the weight I am more concious of the high-calorie foods. And after I gained the 1st 5 pounds, everyone told me I looked healthier and I thought it was just 5 lbs, its whatever. So I just kept eating whatever and I didnt have a scale at the time so every 6 months at the docs office I would notice I had gained 10 lbs or so and I kept thinking I'll lose it by my next visit. And someone else told me when I got the depo shot that can also help hold weight so idk about that. And why didnt I exercise enough? I did exercise quite a bit when I first started gaining weight and then kinda gave up. I swim, horseback ride, use the elliptical and do lots of walking. And I am trying to learn to those things but maybe its just me or something but I dont think that happens overnight for anyone. Its hard to break old habits, ecspecially snacking in an office of women when they keep brining in chocolate. But I have quit eating the bad stuff and started exercising more again so hopefully I'll start to lose it.

I have had a physical yearly and am in good health. My doctor doesnt seem to think I'm overweight or anything but on the thing it said for my height, I should weight between 120-140lbs. What are phyto nutrients? Is that whats in the fruits and veggies?

phyto nutrients are components of fruits and vegetables that provide a number of different benefits to the body. They act as antioxidants, support a number of different body functions, and even help to fight cancer.

Check out the nutritional analysis in my last post. These three ingredients are actually very high in vitamin and mineral content. 12 glasses is much better than the typical junk the American eats by a wide margin.
