I can't seem to drop these pounds. I only want to lose four pounds and they will not drop off. I'm frustrated. Here's what I've eaten today:
- plain low-fat yogurt with a few strawberries
- two eggs, scrambled
- black coffee
- banana
- handful of walnuts
- can of tuna in water with two very small slices of all-grain bread.
I also drank lots of water. I feel spacey and tired today. Should I even bother to have dinner tonight?

I have been running 4 miles every other day.
I'm fed up!
A couple problems here. First, you're probably keeping your insulin levels too high to lose any real weight. That can be attributed to the yogurt and fruit.
I'm on a low carb diet now and dropping weight easily. If you did the same, you could knock out that 4 lbs in a week or two, max. You could also try one of those low glycemic diets (like the South Beach Diet) but it might take you an extra week or two to lose the weight.
Secondly, if you're running 4 miles you're almost certainly taking your heart rate out of the fat burning zone. Cardio is not very good for burning fat, so you should consider substituting it for some low weight/high rep weight lifting.

I only had about 3 strawberries with my yogurt. I am afraid to cut out the carbs because I need them for running. But I don't know, maybe I can work out on a no-carb diet.
I had a handful of mixed nuts and more yogurt for dinner.
I feel miserable and out of it today. I'm going to bed now...

Is there any reason in particular that you have to keep running? Even with that, the low carb diet would only last a week or so.
I like to get in control of my weight before it becomes a problem. I want to be able to fit into my sexy jeans again.
I'd be willing to bet you are just as sexy even with those four pounds.
