DH has just confirmed he can get away from work long enough for us to go to the Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah to meet & adopt our new little fuzz butt! Morrha is a hound mix that was a feral youngster running loose around Kanab Utah. From what I understand it took about 4 months for them to catch this wily little girl She has worked hard on her lessons that humans are not something she should fear and is ready to take the next step - a forever home with us Although she is still very shy and uncertain about this dog/human business, everything I hear about her makes me think she will be a very good match for us and our pack.
We've decided to make a holiday of it and drive out there with our resident fur-kids to meet & adopt her. We will be there 5 days and plan on lots of hikes with the fur-kids in the area before we drive back home.
Whoo Whoo! We leave a week from today
Gotta show her off a bit. Here's a picture of our girl at Dog Town.

Hit Zion...dogs are allowed in many parts of the Park. The heat ( and I know you KNOW heat, living in Tx) is quite a bit different...it is so dry, it sucks the air out of you...so be prepared for that!
