Nope - what I'm saying is if that "on-going investigation" turns out to be "lip service" from a politician that actually doesn't give a hoot (as it happens in some areas), there are other steps that can be taken to help stop the abuse.

I think everyone has covered all the calls that need to be made:
ASPCA
Local / County Animal Shelter
Sheriff's Department

If they are legit, then a welfare check won't hurt to make sure everything is up to par. If they are not and they are hoarding animals, then they are breaking the law and no one is above the law. Besides, all animals deserve better!
