Not sure how many feed Orijen 6-Fish formulas for their Cats or Dogs. But, since they use fish caught in the wild and not through fisheries, the supply of this food usually gets interrupted once the lakes in Alberta freeze over. Just thought I would give anyone that feeds this a heads up so that you can plan to get an extra bag. We had no idea about this last year and had to get food shipped from a friend in Canada as all the stores in our area including the wholesaler were out of the 6-Fish.

Hopefully, we don't have the problems we had last year...but if we do, better to be prepared.

We didn't have this issue in my area. Every single pet store in San Diego had more than enough stock of 6 fish to last through the winter. I know the East coast had a shortage, but the West coast was set. This seems to be a regional issue.

That is odd...because initially I tried to order it from a supplier in Southern California and they were out of it and didn't know when it was going to be back in stock. They thought that they would receive their shipment the next week, but the date kept being moved. If your store had no problems with supply, it makes me wonder if it is as popular out there. It is the #1 selling food at the specialty stores I go to.

I know that some stores had the small bags still on the West Coast, but I only use the largest bags since you have to have all the same size bags to get the free ones. This year, I am prepared.

This is the #1 seller in this area. I finally convinced my friend to carry it at his pet supply store and he can't believe how popular it is, definitely his best seller. They just like us SoCal people more I guess!

Quite possibly. Or, they like your distributors better. Either way, there may be a lot of people on this board with requests.
