While we don't know the actual day of her birth, we use October 28th, since that's what the vet put on her paperwork when she was checked out first the first time. The best guess is that she was 4 weeks old.
She was taken away from her mother and ditched by some people who had two unsupervised, unaltered dogs and (surprise ) ended up with a litter of puppies. Apparently, they couldn't sell all the month-old puppies . I was only supposed to foster her until she was old enough to be adopted. But, I'm a complete failure as a foster mom. It was an 8 hour round-trip to get her and, by the time she was curled up in the sleeve of my jacket 10 minutes into the return trip, I knew she wasn't going anywhere. She's grown into such a sweet, funny, playful, snuggly, lovable young lady! Jack and Naala love her as much as I do.
