Thanks again, everyone! Artie's having a lovely birthday -- a lot of walks, a lot of running in the backyard, a lot of my attention despite a heavy workload, and so many nice greetings from you all.
I *would* give him cake -- if, for nothing else, a good poop story -- but he did the bum scootch a few minutes ago. A walk didn't result in a poop (which is surprising) but I'm going to steer clear of bad-for-him things on this birthday.
