Odie just came over and licked the keyboard as I was preparing to type a message to Artie. So I guess that means Odie is sending Artie a birthday kiss? Happy birthday Artie!

He got a TON of stuff, E, and guess what... he's not interested. Not in the stingray tail that every OTHER dog loves. Not in the pumpkin cookie that came with the stingray tail. Oh, he did like the other stuff that came with it -- the freeze-dried tuna and the freeze-dried rabbit (ugh!).

But along with his regular dinner of Orijen kibble, a half a Stella patty (lamb), and a quarter of a hamburger, I scrambled an egg for him. So he had a good birthday dinner.

well, probably the main thing as far as artie is concerned is that he gets to do what ARTIE wants..... and he knows that his momma loves him..... and really, what better present is there than THAT??

i've gotta go find some frosty paws for dave's birthday on tuesday..... considering trying to put a birthday hat on him and a "2" candle in his frosty paws for a picture to send to the shelter he came from .....he's so tall, i could just set it on the kitchen table and have him stand behind it..... they still have very fond memories of him .... and the kennel manager actually lives in my neighborhood.....

Can PC come over for dinner? Minus the Orijen, of course. He won't touch any type of dog food right now, including the foul smelling canned!

Mash up a banana, mix in some peanut butter and plain yogurt. Freeze. There is your own homemade version of Frosty Paws, minus the 72 ingredients they add!

And put a hat on your dog? What kind of a person would dress up their dog in a birthday hat and put a candle in their treat? People these days, I tell ya!

Awwww, yeah, send him over!

I'm going to try that MAK version of Frosty Paws! For Artie, I mean. Maybe he'll share?
