And put a hat on your dog? What kind of a person would dress up their dog in a birthday hat and put a candle in their treat? People these days, I tell ya!

Thanks, Happy! He will!

And, by the way, I seem to remember talking to you when Artie hadn't eaten for a couple of days. I just wanted to let you know that he's FINE now.

We did end up going to the vet, like you suggested, but they didn't find anything, not that they did much. If nothing else, though, it eased my mind so there's that... and that's worth $81, right? No?

Funny enough (haha?), he ate his entire dinner that night. He's such a poop-disturber, always keeping me on my toes.

Sounds like a good day for a ride in the car, trip to the dog park, stop off at PetSmart to pick out some toys and treats, and stop at Arby's for a small sandwich. Don't forget a scoop of ice cream for dessert today.

If you knew Artie, you'd know only SOME of that would fly.

Car rides are OK, as long as we don't make THE! TURN! that goes to the vet.

He only gets along with a few dogs in our neighborhood. Strange dogs are THE ENEMY! (as are most of the other dogs in the 'hood)

The toys can't have squeakers (Artie eats them... and then vomits... and then needs x-rays) and the treats are hit or miss (Artie is VERY particular).

He could eat the inside of the sandwich but not the bread; he's grain-intolerant.

He's lactose-intolerant, too, most likely, but sometimes a bit of ice cream can be had. Sometimes.

Oh, honestly, is he a gift in himself or what? He's just so LAID-BACK! And EASY!

Um, Jasper... want a Lab/Beagle/Corgi/Monster mix? One named Artie? HUH? I'll ship him out on Monday, just say the word!
